At the bottom of every page on this site, you'll find the Verify Before You Buy™ search box.

Use this tool to quickly see if a Web site has been issued a VeriSign® Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. You can check to see if your favorite Web sites are secure now. Or when you're about make a purchase, you can simply copy and paste the URL into the search box and click "verify."

Use this tool to quickly find out if your favorite e-commerce, banking, or other Web sites have been issued VeriSign EV SSL Certificates. Just enter the Web address and click "verify."
Note: Verify Before You Buy is currently limited to generic top-level domain VeriSign SSL Certificates. If the URL that you're investigating has a country code top-level domain, such as .co.uk or .de, you should use alternate means of evaluating the security of the Web site. Learn more >>
